$98,000 on the first day with 5 days to go... this should be exciting to watch for the next few days... and way to expensive to participate.

:eek :eek :eek

WHAT A SWEET VETTE!!!
690k$ whew
I wont earn that kinda coin for almost a decade!

I would buy it with my pocket change (cough) but I'd hate myself every day I let it sit (a car like that is meant to be driven) and every day I drove it (a car like that is too nice to drive). Can't wait to see what it goes for.

After recieving many of the same Emails from those who have limited research sources, the engine code "IT" is correct for very early production 1969 L-88 Corvette's with manual trans. This was the same as the 1968 code, possibly Chevrolet was using excess engines, or whatever the reason, this car came with an "IT" code engine. The original Protect-O-Plate photo clearly shows the "IT" code. These were a closed chamber engine vs the "LO" code open chamber that was installed in the manual trans cars after the first few of the production run. Many Emails I am recieving are statements or questions that are covered in the auction text, please take time to read carefully before Emailing questions.
