I had the same question about the LT5 engine ? :confused

cant answer your question directly, but I can say that the TB Bypass mod is not noticable. If anything, it gives you a chance to get your hands IN your engine bay for the first time without messing up anything else.
(well, you can kill the opti spark if you get it wet.. so ignore what I just said) haha

Honestly, for the small gain in HP, it is not really a needed mod.

It will not give a noticable power gain, but the coolant not being in the TB allows the plenum and TB to remain COOLER, which helps prevent heat soak of the intake which kills the L98's power.

All you need to do is remove the coolant hoses from either side of the throttle body and mate them with a small piece of pipe and 2 clamps. Or you can do what I did and use a longer piece of 5/8" hose to reroute it without clamps and pipes.

yeah i did like Vader, and the main reason why was the little C shaped hose from the manifold up to the T/B was dried out and leaking. so i lost it, and ran a new hose from the heater value line to the mainifold. so no line going to the T/B now. only cost new heater hose.
