T-Top Headliner

The vinyl headliner is pulling away from the backing on my '81 T-Tops. Tried gluing them back with contact cement but it didn't work. Any suggestions on what type of glue might work? How about 3M Spray Adhesive?

the 3M spray adhesive may work but I'd go for the 3M Super trim adhesive - it's a bit stronger.

if that doesn't work try some JB weld, that should hold most anything.

I've even used Liquid Nails on material (i.e. vinyl, fiberboard, plastic, ..etc) I love JB weld whenever I'm gluing with metal.
