tank sticker

I have a 71 vette 350/270hp does anyone know the tank sticker numbers for front springs and rear axle 3.36 ratio. I have all the other numbers but can't read these. I need the option numbers that is on the tank sticker, ie: 1VG81AA is positaction axle.

Positraction is G80 but was standard for '71 so it probably does not show on the sticker. Optional ratio will be G81 and text will list the ratio. Springs won't be listed on the sticker since there were no optional suspension packages unless you went with the ZR1 or ZR2.

You may want to contact the NCRS or the 1971 Registry for Chevrolet zone and dealer codes. Rick Bizzoco's 1969 Stingray Guidebook has a listing of the zones and codes for the 1969 model year, most of which would probably be applicable to '71.

Front Springs (STD)

The Option No. for the standard front springs was 1VF62HS. This info is from the Corvette Order Copy (Tank Sticker) from my 71 SB coupe with just a AM/FM radio and white letter tires as options.
