I just got my tele. steering fixed...the prev. owner had ran an off size bolt down the column and broke off the head; needless to say my wheel moved in and out on its own ! Arts corv. parts shipped the bolt, i removed the short shaft and put heat to it and that baby came right out...I can't wait til this weekend to finally drive it with a "tight" wheel after only owning it for a month. Some guys shouldn't be allowed to work on Vettes :w

Which C-4's have a telescoping sterring wheel. I have a 91, all mine does is tilt, am I missing something?

My 86 does and so does my brother's 87. I am not sure when this wasn't an option, i know that some older vette's had them. Somebody should know.

88 Has both

My 84 has one too. Its a little lever that you slide located on the upper part of the steering column, just in case you weren't sure what it was. I'm not positive, but I think this is a standard option in all c4's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.:beer

84-89 had the Tilt/Tele wheel. in 1990 when the airbag was introduced the Tele option went away until 1998 or 1999
