dann, i am looking for the gauge (or back of) mounting to the main gauge bracket
i am trying to make sure i am not accidently grounding the temp gauge

thanks

The two insulators go on top and bottom between the frame and the lug connector. There is also one that goes in the middle so the top and bottom lugs do not touch middle wrapping.

old, thanks , i'll be pulling the gauge cluster to check that out.

What is it made of? The top of a plastic butter dish may work. (If all you need is an insulator.)

HELLO,the spare pieces i have for an old amp gauge seem to be made of some sort of rough-texture ceramic. i am going to the elec shop at work and see if they have any small fiber discs for insulators..worth a shot..

thanks to all.
