temp sensor help

HI everybody new guy need alittle help.Temp gauge doesnt work on my 77.Found sensor no wire conected bought new harness.Now i know its a green wire but i found two green wires cut. One wire is on drivers side fender other is in the middle of fire wall center of car.Any help would be great.

Should be the one that runs along the fender on the drivers side, all I can say is try it. I've had wires cut all over & am slowly getting things working again with the help of a decent manual that shows wiring schematics. good luck!
