Somewhere on the web I was looking at an article on very specific things to check and do on a test drive. Now I can't find it and I have Googled myself half to death. Does anyone know of such an article? I'm not sure what the rules are here for linking to other sites.

Thanks,
Bill

Try c4vettes.com. My advice is to drive it hard and look for maintenance receipts. Don't forget, they're old cars so don't expect everything to be perfect.

Thanks guys. That was the article I was looking for. The car we have looked at is a '95 convert. w/13K miles.

Wow!

I just bought a 95 coupe 2 wks ago with 32,600 miles and thought the mileage was remarkably low... with 13,000, that ragtop (hopefully) should have plenty of life left! Good luck and enjoy!

I bought a 93 ruby 2-1/2 years ago with 32,000 miles on it.

Let's just say that low mileage isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Bill-
Huck is correct. Low milage is not always a blessing. The best advice, already given, is to have a competent mechanic who knows vettes well check out the car before you buy it.
