Well I got to thinkin...

Since Im doing the rad.....

I decided to

Pull out the Alternator and change it with a 140amp chrome one.
Upper intake manifold and repaint
New Die cast alumin Chev Valve covers
GOOD BYE POLLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!
New Optima Red Top battery (Converting to top post)
New Hoses


Questions..

Ive pulled the pollution pump and I see that the vette companys sell a 200$ bar and idler pulley..why? Can't I just run a smaller belt what do I need the idler bar for?

Im cutting the pollution tubes off the exhaust manifolds and creasing them shut (With a small brazing as well)

Can I yank out the Carbon and Evap canisters??

I think I have to leave the EGR alone or can I pull it? Im trying not to ring any codes.

Help!
