I followed your process and it worked great. I did the whole wash, clay bar, wax removal, scratch and swirl eliminator, and wax in one day and the car never looked better. My wife wants me to clay bar the windows on the other cars now. The idea of using the surface adhesion properties of water to dry the car by having the water sheet off is great! That's one of those "Why didn't I think
of that?" ideas.

The only thing I did different is that I've gone to a no bucket wash. I won some Mother's Trigger Wash at a car club meeting and have been using that. Rinse the car to get the loose stuff off, shoot a little Trigger Wash onto an area, gently work the grime off with a wash mitt, then rinse the section and the mitt with the hose and move on to the next section.
