I want to thank each and every one of you who attended Bloomington Gold. Not only did you show the world how important Callaway cars are to Corvettes, you also proved to be the most generous and accommodating people I have ever met. It was an experience of a lifetime and one I will soon not forget. Meeting all of you in person was a true honor.

Chris & Natasha - I thank you both for your wonderful accommodation and enthusiastic spirit Attending your class was wonderful and full of information imposible to learn on my own. It has inspired me to own a Callaway car in the future.

Peter - I wish I could hang out with you more often, you had me choking on my sandwich at lunch. Your a great guy and funny as hell. I just hope never to be a victim of your "Lean". :D

Luigi - Your were the welcome wagon for the Callaway owners Thursday morning and introduced me to the other Callaway owners. Always with a smile on your face and the infectious laugh kept the spirits high. You'll have to give me a ride in your beast one of these days!

Eric What can I say, the brew was your trademark. And the note card from the booth outside was a great slip cover for the Yengling :L . Always with the jokes you had me laughing a lot! Great car, great weekend!

Kevin - Your car was incredible and a real show standout. It was an honor to meet you and spend the weekend with you and the boys!

Mark - It was great to meet you and to hang out like old friends. You truely are one of the nicest people i have ever met. I enjoyed spending time with you and walking around the show talking cars. If I ever get out to Carlisle i'll make sure to look you up.

Josh - :L the story about the drunk chick has me laughing still. It was great to meet you and have the pleasure of watching you and Eric goof around like a couple of brothers. I hope to meet again sometime and chase some women! :beer

Big John - Your car was incredible. :eek It was great to meet a Callaway owner who isn't afraid to drive his car(s). :D It was my great pleasure to meet you and keep us updated on your SSR!

I had to make sure and get a picture of Pete's car so I'm not subject to the "Lean"

Chad

Chad, it was great to meet you too! I do believe that you get the award for the most enthusiastic future Callaway owner award of the weekend. Wow! You were there from Wednesday till Sunday! Even before the show opened! Head out to Carlisle at the end of summer and we'll get you a ride in a few of these monsters! See you then and thanks for hanging with the guys throughout this historic weekend! :)

Well said Chad!!! I didn't spend near as much time with everyone as what you were got it, but it was still awesome getting to meet everyone. Yesterday was an incredible experiance being part of a big moment on Callaway history. Thanks to everyone for their kindness towards me and giving me more hope that someday I'll be part of that "group" you guys have and not just an enthusiast.

p.s. I would have been there everyday had I lived something like 4 miles down the road!!!!;)

Some of us were lucky that the hotel was on site! ;) Forget 4 miles away! It had something to do with Beck's beer and table dancing! Walking or driving anywhere was out of the question! :L

Chad, It was great to meet you. And yes next time we go chase some drunk chicks youd better be there :D

Hey Josh can you tell me where Westbubbaf** is ? I believe you met a girl with a Monkey on her back from there didn't you? Were you able to Close the Deal ? I must say it was a great time had by all.

Yeah it was great to meet all of you as well. I wished I could have spent more time over there but it was a busy weekend.

I agree it was nice to see everyone again and to meet some of the people I had yet to meet. Jeff and Josh to name a couple.See everyone again at Carlisle:beer

I think the whole Callway group deserves one large thanks for the effort put into to making this one of the best special collections. You guys used enough wax to support all those wax booths by yourself. It was really great to match the people to the cars and then to talk to a few of you later. Even the Callaway school was great! I have a couple of possibilities from the show but still looking for that 89 Callaway convertible. Although the export car could really tempt me. Sorry my budget couln't reach Cherry Smash. Wow!:)
Hope to see a few of you at Carlisle

IKE :upthumbs

Folks,

It was great to get together with the Callaway crew yet again, meet other Callaway owners I had not met before, and meet some great enthusiasts and (hopefully) future owners such as Chad and Reuben.

Chad, I hope you can make it out to future events like Carlisle etc and sure you are welcome to take my car for a spin. BTW, you have a great looking car already. I am sure that you do quite well with the girls and that by hanging out with the Motley crew it would just reinforce what not to do ;LOL.

Send me an e-mail to luigi@employees.org with your address and I'll send you a CD with the pics once I can sort through them all.

It was an awesome event! :upthumbs

Thanks for the kind words...

Chad, Thank you very much for the kind words! These guy's are a first class bunch of owners & enthusiasts :upthumbs

I am very glad that you had fun - I can recall the first time I saw a B2K up close & personal, still have the 15w50 running through my blood, almost 2 decades later ;)

There certainly were many, many aspects of the show as you mentioned, that were great - The Cars & People were at the top of the list!

It was also cool to see all of the new Callaway Parts that were introduced by the folks from Old Lyme - very exciting :cool As I am certain you realized, they are a great bunch of people w/ some talent in finding the enginerring solutions for more power :upthumbs

Thank you again for the words of enthusiasum and the positive feedback of the Callaway School :cool

Great pics :beer

It was great to see and hang out with old friends and meet new ones as well. What a great group of people. Thanks to everyone for your hospitality and kindness to both my Dad and I. He'll be talking about that trip for a long time! (As will I.)

I'm still recovering from the drive home (1000 miles) but I wouldn't have missed this one for the world.

Thanks Luigi!

Just got this in the mail (email) from Luigi and I thought everyone would enjoy!
