Well Here I am....This is my first post on this Forum. After tracking down 67 Heaven to his great C-2 Web Page ..I desided to follow him over here. I thought I might get a different view from C-1 C-2 Guys over here.

I'm always open to listen & learn a few new tricks from my fellow Vette owners.
As you know this is a Love/Hate relationship we have with our cars. So it's always good to get some tech love to fight the thech hate from the plastic fantasic.

Looking forward to exchanging thoughts and idea's here on this Forum.

Glad to be aboard............:beer

Now THIS is a nice surprise. Viet Nam Vett -- it is great to see you here.

People, Viet Nam Vett is a pillar of the "other" place and always has entertaining topics to discuss. Nice stable of cars too. I especially like the name of one of his cars - ThunderChicken. :D

He's a Jersey guy so be nice to him.

Welcome Mark. :upthumbs

Just in case anyone is wondering, no I didn't go asking (but I'm happy Mark decided to come for a look-see).

Since I arrived here, I have never tried to entice anyone else. This site speaks for itself.

Thanks Heaven,...........This site is pretty cool...Just trying to navigate around and figure a few things out here. I didn't see a testing section for pic posting. Maybe you could guide me their. Looked around under quick links but didn't see anything on that. Also I wanted to make sure I didn't post a pic to large for the server.. Maybe I should just quit crying like a baby here and look around some more rather then bug you guys with these NewBee questions.

You probably get them all the time..

Heh ..How about a live 1-800 Fourm Chat Instructor....;LOL

Anyway...just tell me where to click to read what:beer I need to know

Ok I got the links...and I pasted them in my draft folder to use...but where are they on this forum to get to. In other words....is there a pull down menue that shows these links......Testing..Info some where on the Thread page or main page?

Mark,

Click on the FORUMS button near the top and the entire list of sections will be revealed.

Way down the list, in a section marked COMMUNITY, you'll find them. Also, be sure to visit the Off Road Lounge and The Edge. Nothing at all like OT over there. :D

Ok..while I was waiting for your reply..I went surfing and found the help section..Daaaaaaaah. Open mouth....Insert Foot.

Also I will check out the above lounge and stop in for a drink..
Time for me to leave work. It's been a rough day here. I got me a kink in my right foot from supporting my left foot on top of my desk. So when I get home I'll pop on the high speed. I Gotta get off this slow boat to China Dial up laptop.

Thanks for you help to day ..And I'll yack at ya soon..

Welcome to the site Viet Nam Vett
:CAC

I know you (well, your name at least) from the other site as well although I don't post there very often.
it's a great site here and a very good and friendly bunch of people. I think you will also find a lot of people you know from over there are also here.

Enjoy yourself and have fun finding your way around the site
LOL
I've been here about 2 month (a relative newbee myself) and i'm still learning my way around.

HMMMmmmmm..

And yet "another" Joisey guy. My pleasure to meet you Sir, welcome, enjoy, glad to have you aboard.

Welcome to the site Viet Nam Vett and welcome home....The unit patch I wore for quite some time from 69 - 72 was called "Thunder Chicken." Also known as the ASA.

Enjoy yourself here, friendliest forum I've ever been in and we're always waiting for the announcement from Heaven.

See.............

And, Mark, Rowdy's '62 is not just your average '62. :eek

What's that I smell? Is that rubber? :D
THAT'S how ugly rumors start:bu And I could have sworn the wind was blowing to the East;LOL Now I "know" this will start something, BUT, I have to say, "MY" burnouts are NOT done using the brake pedal:D :beer

Welcome to CAC I lived in Jersey once upon a time, glad I left. Seeing Rowdy at Cruise Fest was a treat, he made a point to repave the "strip":L along with some others.

Heh,.....Thanks Every body. That's a nice welcome and I'm glad to see some of the guys here from.....As Heaven says.."The Other Place".

One question ..I hit the Reply to post button on the lower left and On the top of message box There is a title box for a title. Wht's up with that? If I just want to reply and have all the Smilies and text option is that what I hit?

I undestand that quick reply doesn't give you that stuff so what is the title box for?:confused

Ok...I see.... I can Insult People Here That's what It's For
