Toyota Motor Corp. told its dealers late Tuesday to temporarily stop selling its premium Lexus GX 460 SUV after Consumer Reports urged people not to buy the vehicle because of a potential rollover risk.
Toyota spokesman Mike Michels said the Japanese automaker was reacting quickly to the magazine's warning.
The automaker has been criticized -- and faces a record fine from U.S. safety regulators -- for reacting too slowly to complaints about its vehicles.
