Great day here Saturday(sunny 50's) everbody seemed to be out an about.Got out for some driving and ended up having some high speed fun with A C5,Porshe boxster and A BMW M4.The old girl made me proud!

As I had soon realized, it's amazing how a vehicle that is 17-18 years old still hangs with all these new sports cars. Someone knew what they were doing back in the eighties when our cars were being built :_rock .

The only one I can't keep with is the C5, in my old girl.

Aint it sweet, those guys are just ticked.:Buttslap

They sure are. Most people just lump anything pre-C5 together as being slow. Big mistake on their part.:D

Way to represent!!

oops M3 I mean

Thanks. You should hold your own with M3's and the Boxter. The C5 just has a bit too much power. Keep up the good work!

Most older Boxsters have wimpy motors. The M3 is a bit better. Just watch out for those 745s, especially a black one, driven by my foxy RE agent wife! She likes to demonstrate the 0-60 capability, which is under 7 seconds.

Nice, at last, to not worry about not having enough power. My pal, with similar setup has embarrased Vipers, TurboCarreras and Ferraris, plus one C-5. My car runs better than his and I have surprised (beaten) one super bike and lost to another. I eagerly await new 'shoes', as these BFGs have been spun hardened and naturally aged. :D

Enjoyed the post, thoroughly.

You're just ahead of the game wannavette. BMW is actually going to call the M version of the new "3" series and M4. Apparently the even numbered series will be the two door versions. (M6 for example) Remember the 8 series are all two doors as well. Very forward in your thinking you are!
