The Ram Jet 502 hits the street!! video

The 502 ramjet 67 project is now at its end, and I was able to take it for a small ride this afternoon. Here is a short video of the car.

Yes, it will be at Carlisle, looks like there will be 3 502 midyears, eh.

I am not sold on the injection....yet. Tomorrow I plan on dialing in more timing, adjusting the fuel pressure and a small amount of other tinkering and I think I will have a better feel for it after that. As it is, it starts and drives very easily, but high end performance seems less then the 3X2 502 67 I built a few years back. But in the ram jets defense, this video was it for my drive time in it, and we did not even get it out until after 5pm, so I was in a rush for pics and a short vid.

Absolutely beautiful job on the vette! I am looking forward to seeing the 3 502's at Carlisle. If I had not started with a matching numbers 327 I would have loved to have built one. No matter what anyone says, there is no such thing as too much torque.

Lose the music after the engine starts - can't hear the engine that well.
