Has anyone been "recalled" yet. I have tried to get some info from Chevrolet and have been told that by Dec 1 the word should be out. I did discover that the "fix" is much less difficult than earlier stated. Now it will consist of moving a body-mounted clip, check to see that the brake lines have proper clearance, and reposition the lines as necessary.

some C-6s were built with the brake lines too close to the exhaust manifold and the rear end housing. it requires the lines to be repositioned.

Right --this is the brake line recall.

A fellow buyer stated that he was told the recall was applicable to the first 5000 Vettes; subsequently produced cars incorporate the 'new' position.
