I got a cool email from the wife of the original owner of my car. She found two pictures of the car as it looked when in AZ circa 1994 or 95. If you know what my car looks like now, you know it is very different from this. (Note the luggage rack on the deck lid.)

...when I told my wife that was your car, she thoguht that you had bought another :eek I said no, he has one - that's when she got upset as she is a HUGE fan of your silver Callaway

I explained the whole story and she is fine now, can't wait to see your car again

The luggage rack is something you have to lose when you have an aero I see now. (my opinion that is)

Question: Are that the same centercap's that we see with almost 10 years between the 2 photo's? In '94/95 the centercap's colour like the rest of the Dymag rim, but in '03 it look darker..?

Peter - Very observant of you. Yes, they are the same but I stripped off the clear coat because it was getting dull and some corrosion had begun in a couple of spots. After doing that I polished them. They are actually shiny aluminum now but the angle of the picture makes them look dark.
