HOWDY, yes, i am thinking of possibly selling my 74. thought i'd throw this out and see what interest it generates.
it's a driver, not perfect. i still have to do the p/s a/c and suspension systems.
the car has monza headlights with covers. 80 model seats non original 350 with headers ,edelbrock intake and holley carb. th400 auto tranny. 82 rear bumper ,mags ,j.c.whitney sidepipes.and few other things i can't remember now.
thinking around 7k . let me know if you're interested

best to all

Robin,
I can't believe you are actually thinking of selling the vette. You have done so much to it. What are you going to do if you do sell it? I can not think of not see you on here.

Gary

GARY, thank you for the kind words. i never thought anyone paid attn to me.
anyway let's just say if i don't reign-in my spending on my toys etc. something has to go. so i am working on my money management skills. and doing some financial changes.
if those don't work.then i have to be realistic. it would be the vette or the harley and Sandie likes the harley alot more.

robin

Well I know what you mean about the spending thing. I've been out of work for a year now. That's why I've soldmy 78 driver and have the buyer for my Daytona. Selling the Daytona is really hurting. It has been my dream for a long time and I spend hundreds of hours redoing the body and now someone else is going to enjoy it. I keep hoping to find work in Law enforcement, but being 54 years old it is hard to compete against the young guys.

Hang in there; maybe you'll just have to wait to get some thing done and work on the thing that don't take a lot of money just time. I'd hate to see you sell the vette; I know what that is like and you will really miss it. I'd keep the vette over the Hog any day, but that is just me. Good luck and stay in touch.

Gary

P.S. If you hear of any good jobs let me know.

don't know if your into security but there are alot of jobs here in that field. Alot of rich people feel the need to have alot of security people around if you know what I mean.
Wisconsin madison.

That what I've been looking at lately. If I can find something that pays enough. I've been checking into Casinos as well. I work with the one here while, since I worked the last 7 years on an Indian Reservation as the Drug Investigator and K-9 handler. I'm starting to look at anything that I can make a living at. Thanks for the informations I will have to do some computor searches into that.

Again Thanks and any help is welcome.

Gary

Robin,

Bring it to the NCRS Winter meet. They always have a for sale area.

Good Luck and see you soon.
:w
Guy

GUY , that's a good idea. thanks! good reason to get the sidepipes hooked up at the muffler shop.
you can see i am eager to sell(not). but have to look at reality also. hoping my dept at disney get some overtime fired up soon.

Robin I hope you find a way around selling your Vette, my wife is always telling me to sell mine and pay off my debts. I just tell her I would lose too much money on it. I think I found the soultion today. I said we should sell her Impala SS its worth more then the Vette."No way, its too much fun to drive" she said. "well thats how I feel about my Vette" said I and ended that discussion.
I find ways to make ends meet, sell some of my guns and extra car parts to finance my projects. Driving my Vette makes it all worth while and now hunting relieves the stress that my Vette is hibernating:L

Craig, i see you are dealing with the same issues(aka spouse). i am trying my darndest to work around this situation.
i noticed there isn't much interest in the car, but i do appreciate all the advice and encouragement.

you all are GREAT friends

yea why is it always the mans stuff that has to be sold. I told her to sell some diamonds if she wanted money :L

GREETINGS, well, i've had the car in the paper all week. so far, many calls lots of questions, but that's as far as anyone goes. seems most are looking for a barn-fresh ,matching-numbers, $3000 corvette.
i guess if i really wanted to sell,i'd lie alot. DARN, i have to keep the @@##$ car.

best wishes to all
ROBIN

I got mine out of a barn for $4500:L its too late to worry about numbers matching now:D .
Keep the Corvette at all costs, at least you can drive yours all year long and don't have to suffer through the winter.
