THOMAS RACING CHIP..????

This is JMO...but...at $24.99....claiming 15% better fuel economy and 35 to 45 HP increase it's got to be a load of CRAP. I swear some of these fly by night companies have taken the term "there's a sucker born every minute" to new heights. I looked at the pics of this "chip" in the ad (couldn't see it very well)--unless i miss my guess it's like some of the other junk on the market in the $25.00-$50.00 range which are nothing more than a glorified resistor that plugs inline to the ECT. The resistor "tricks" the ECM and makes it think the engine is colder then it actually is..which in turn keeps the system in open loop.---open loop will not increase hp and will decrease fuel economy. I see they make mention of the MAF so my judgement may be wrong as far as where it connects and how it works. If this chip just did 1/2 of their claims they couldn't make enough or produce them fast enough at $24.99...Another good old saying "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is" Anyway once again JMO:thumb

"
Secure Chip in place using glue or electrical tape."
