Attwood Turbo 4000 Blower

that Attwood turbo 4000 blower is a Boat Fan that blows fumes out of the Engine Compartment of a boat

this is what you were talking about...This is a JOKE Compared to the one i found on Ebay

this thing is a scam

It's $300 dollars ...The Unit consists of (2) PC fans in a plastic housing
Cost:

  • $300
When connected to power:

  • Tiny electric fans rotate at speed similar to PC-cooling fans, creating a faint breeze
Reaction of all technical experts who examined the Twin Turbo Zet:

  • Extreme mirth

And, just for your interest, here's a pic of the Twin Turbo Zet together with a normal 55mm electronics cooling fan.

OK, that's a scam, but I did send away for a set of their VortexGenerators.

They didn't come with a box of nails to attatch them to the car?

:confused

wonder who will be the first to tell AAA towguy, sorry I left my electric turbo on and drained my battery .... that would be funny to see his reaction

Well, the bilge blower thing is not misrepresented. Someoone, who doesn't read very well, assumed it was a scam trying to misrepresent the device as an automoitive product.

The other product is not really misrepresented either. If you actually read that site and the dyno data, you can see that they are advertising it in a reasonably straight-up manner in that they post dyno data showing clearly that the power increase is only modest at best and they say it's a lower cost alternative to superchargers and turbochargers.

Is the marketing agressive, yes, but is it deceptive? I'm not so sure. It the product capable of a useful power increase? Marginal at best, but...there are a lot of aftermarket products like that.
