throttle body cover question

I found a Grand sport Throttle body cover for sale.

they say it is only for LT1 engines,

but as from the picture I think it should fit L98 too

does anyone have an idea ?

I can't tell you whether it'll fit or not, although the bolt pattern appears to be the same.

You might check the P/Ns for TBs or both engines w/ GM or Summit. I suspect they are the same and the covers would be, as well. As I think about this, perhap the Summit online catalog lists these plates and the applicable years, which might be a quicker answer for you.

looking at other covers I have, it will fit - it is based upon the throttle body top bolts and fitting into the indention - If it turns out there is a prob. - at least you will have a neat belt buckle

Eckler's has them listed for 85 - 96 ... all the same part number. My bet is that they will fit.

and from the TPI cover to make a belt buckle

I got one from Ecklers for my LT-1; fit without any probs.
