I have pretty much a stock C4....I have (or will have an adj. fuel pressure regulator and K&N on the car with a lesser restrictive exhaust. Other small bolt ons and lower degree T-Stat/fans on earlier

I have noticed play in my throttle body where the spring is that opens and closes it....my tranny guy told me its better to replace the whole unit then to try to fix it....so my question is....should I stay stock 48mm? or go up to a 50 mm (do they even make this size) or jump into a 52 mm (or is that too big for a mostly stock setup)?

thanks guys

Unless you plan some airflow improvements in the heads/intake/exhaust, the 48mm is more than enough.

I agree 100% However, if you're going to do some of those mods down the line; I see no harm in getting a 52mm. :upthumbs

I agree But, rather than buyin a new TB, e-mail David at dkoldos@ameritech.net
andhave him rebuild it better than new! He will even turn it into a 52mm if you so desire. I don't know David, other than reputation, and I have hed him rebuild my 58mm. :cool :w
