Throttle Doesn't Fully Open

Hi All, I recently cleaned the throttle blade area in my 89,dirty but not too bad. Anyway I had someone depress the accelerator to the floor and the throttle blade does not fully open. Is it time for a accelerator cable or??? Thanks

guess i'll check mine too???? so yours with the pedal to the floor the T/B butterfly is not open all the way, which i guess looking at it head on would be 90 degrees. so how far dose it open?
