Throttle Performance Switch

Anyone have any experience with these? I've seen them offered by Mid America and TPIS... Do they work? For the price, ($90-$100) they sure as hell better do something...

They really only have an effect at WOT, then it is good for 1-2 horsepower. ;)

:eek: Oops! I was thinking of the "air foil" not the switch. Sorry, I have no experience with that switch.

I don't know how well they work but it's my understanding that they are for "instant throttle response" . But when your raceing sometimes that little extra first jump can mean winning or loseing . Cliff

Something about sending WOT readings to the computer when you are at 3/4 throttle. The computer gives the WOT mixture and timing earlier.

That is what I remember reading.

I was on vacation in FL and talked to a guy from Ecklers about these switches. He said "push your foot down farther and you'll save $100 bucks" So I blew the money on two shirts.
