Ticking sound from HVAC

I am getting a ticking sound from the air conditioner/heater fan on my '99 C5. I am guessing there is a leaf or twig caught in the fan. Does anyone have any idea how to get it out of there? I was hoping it would come out on it's own, but it has been about 3 weeks now and it's driving me crazy.

I usually don't park under trees so don't know when I got something in there unless it was at the shopping mall.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks

HI there,
Remove the passenger side closeout panel, below the glove box.
There will be 3 5.5mm screws that must be released and unplug the motor.

Thanks c4c5specialist. I will give it a try and let you know how it goes.
