Tie-rod end threads??

Anyone knows if the outer tie rod end on the right side of the corvette is supposed to have right- or left hand threads??

I sure hope that it is right hand threads, cause I just got two like that (the shop must have messed it up), and I really need to change the right outer one...

I believe the inner ones are left handed, and the outer ones right handed. You should be able to clean the exposed thread on your existing one without removing it and verify this.

I'm not sure about that... If you look in an Ecklers catalogue for example, you can see that the left inner and right outer are the same, and the left outer and right inner are the same.

But I have no clue wich way the threads are supposed to go....

Original factory spec was L.H. threads on the inners, and R.H. threads on the outers; functionally, it doesn't matter if it's the other way.
