Well after 23 years of fun and adventure it's time to take her apart and give her all the attention she deserves. The '68 is in the garage, windshield and dash out, on the way to a windshield frame rebuild and paint. Anybody got into this yet ? Pictures to follow, gonna be a long summer.:ugh

I had a 69 that I restored twice and drove her about 280,000 miles .Neither we're frame off restorations but the first restore was fun ,second was a pain and third just wasn't going to be done by me .Sold the car in 2003 for more then it was worth .Honestly I regret selling and I miss the constant repairs and weekly fixes .

The good thing for you is EBAY and the many sources that didn't exist for me at the time .Keep us posted and I wish ya the best .

Got my new posts made by local metal shop today need to do a little media blasting to clean up things and time to drill some spot welds and fit new parts. Never really had much to fix regularly, been to florida and around upper midwest. Great car to drive totally diffrent animal than c4.

Had a C4 also and I agree .

Have a good time on your restoration and especially your windshield posts .Give us updates and a few photos from time to time.
