...accelerator linkage. :D

I went for another cruise early this afternoon, and pushed a lot harder on the go pedal than usual. Whoa! There's more where that came from. :eek I think the thickness of the new carpet/heat shield combo is keeping me from achieving total nirvana. ;)

I admit that I've been so mesmerized with driving this car all over Eastern Ontario and the Northern States, that I haven't really taken time to fine-tune things.

Can it get much better?

A big 871 Blower sitting on top? :D

can you trim a bit of the underlayers under the carpet to give to more room to sink the go-fast pedal? or maybe just adjust the linkage to it brings in full throttle with the pedal only 95% down rather than all the way down which your carpet and heat shield may be preventing?

Ah, no. As much as I respect the power those babies provide, I can't bring myself to drive one down the street. I like the understated look. ;)

Yes, Barry, I think that will be the easy solution. :w

really?? holy crap, write this date down in history! I actually made a suggestion regarding the workings of a car that may have been correct?

Well, I guess the work I've done on my own car is actually teaching me something. That's a nice change. :)

Yea it was a nice day for driving wasn't it. Just get Doug to push the pedal to the floor with the engine off and see if it opens up the butterflies, who knows you may be only running half gas ;LOL

and you know what Bob, this year I want a ride; all the time we spent together at Cruise-fest and Carlisle I just realized I have never had a ride yet.:cry
