Hello everyone..I am new to this forum as well as corvette owner.I have a '74 roadster with basic 350 4b rodchester.What is the factory specs on timing?

8 Degrees BTDC @ 650 RPM w/ the vacuum advance hose disconnected from the distributor and the hose plugged.

My manual says 8 degrees BTDC at idle speed

I just recently changed to 12deg and it seems to have a lot more
spunk. It was running pretty doggy @8deg.....

If you run 93 or better octane, it should have a little more kick at 12. I was going from my preferences, but you DID ask for factory timing specs. My mistake.
