Tips on replacing front carpet set on an '81

Can anyone offer any tips on replacing a front carpet set on an '81? Will be taking out the seats and doing job tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

BTW, spent some time in Kent(Canterbury) with the 1st Queens Regiment back in 82, then went over to 2 Para. Nice place. If you like to drink lots of beer it's the place to be If I remember correctly they have about 150 pubs in that little town.

POR15 on the metal floor pan and Reflectix from Lowes for insulation under the carpet. Choose front carpet on this page.

Glue?

Do you guys glue the carpet down?

What about padding? do you just use whatever comes attached to the carpet?

I didn't glue any of mine down. There are enough angles and screwed in pieces like the seats that hold everything in place. I just used the padding that came attached to the carpet. I did glue down the Reflectix.
