I was wondering what works good to clean up the white lettering on my Eagle GT II tires and something that removes that brownish tint on tires. I currently use a bluish tire bleach, it's pretty strong stuff, but I was wondering what everyone else is using.

I use 'Bleach White'. Probably the same stuff you're using from the sounds of it. Works great! I just spray it on, let it sit a minute, and then scrub the tire with a good brush before hosing off. It's strong stuff. Don't get it on the paint or the rims and be sure to rinse good.:beer

Yeah it's a great product to use, I was just wondering if there was anything else people used, to compare. How do you keep it from getting on your rims though? I spray it on the top half of the wall of the tire, but some drips on the rim and down the side. Is there anyway to avoid that?

hi,
I use the spray on cleaner called "no touch" after i wash them real good and use a stiff brush on the letters, I've been told that some detailing places go as far as to use a wire brush on the letters, {I havent tried the wire method}, Im a bit leary of using any type of metal on anything made of rubber, But the "no touch" seems to work very good
Just my 2 cents
Sherry:)

nj7000, I use a small stiff brush to apply the cleaner vs spraying it on. I have less waste and I can keep it on the rubber. I also ALWAYS have shoppe towels stuck in my pockets while messing about with the vehicles. Bleach White is strong enough that you really don't need much.

Sherry, try this stuff on your RWL. Your whites have never been brighter!:w

Hi, thanks mag:)
I've used "bleach white" before on other cars, and to be honest since i got my vette I completely forgot about it, Thanks for the reminder
Sherry:)
