Does anybody have any insight into tire cradles for Vettes in storage? I was looking at a site www.tirecradle.com and was wondering if these things really work for a car sitting long periods of time.

Thanks

Although I don't know if these will work it's still good info. I always have worried about flatspotting. That's why I reposition my car in the garage every couple weeks during the winter. $344 is pretty costly if you're just storing for the winter (approx. 3-4 mos.) and are around to move the car. But if you're storing it while you're away or it's a show car that's inside for many months at a time, it's cheap insurance (if it works).

Best regards,
Kenny

Have read & been told that 3 or 4 months of winter storage will not cause flat spots. Tires today are not likew they were 25 years ago.

Last year my Vette slept from November 'til March, started right up, no flat spots.:v

Thanks for the info on the flatspots, Ctfoodguy2000. You just saved me some rearrangement time.;)

Last year mine sat from mid Dec. to March. Same as yours, fired right up and no flatspots. I figured I'd be a little more cautious this winter but after reading your above post, there's really no need.

Thanks,
Kenny
