Bob, It's probably alignment!! How much weight is in the Trunk?? My wife loads here Trunk with all sort's of Crap in her Buick Lesabre and wonder's why the rear Tire' Cup out the inside!! Front wheel drive car's will ware the rear tire's if there's more in the Trunk than what the factory recommends!!You need to rotate tires 4,000-6,000 miles if you want to get any mileage out of them!! junk!!

GMJ I believe it is empty but for the spare.
He only takes it to work and back.
I asked about alignment and he said "usually struts". ? Has 52,000 miles. Not sure of the mileage on the tire. Used car he has had it for a year or so.

I'd take it and have it aligned!! and tire's Trued a Radial tire will not stop cupping once started unless it's been Trued, if there's enough tread left!! junk!!

The front ones are good for now for inspection. Not much winter traction.
Want to solve the cup situation and then, probably, go for 4 new ones. Trying to verify alignment or struts.
Alignment much cheaper. Grandsons car.

a bad strut could cause this along with to few rotations is the strut leaking or high milage Steve

What year is it, and when was it put in service!! Some of thous had a 6/60,000 warranty!! junk!!
