My wife's '03 developed a golf ball sized bulge in the sidewall of the right front tire. We took about a 400 mile drive this last week and when I was cleaning the car when we got home I noticed it. It wasn't there before we left on the trip or when I checked the tires the morning we left to come home. I'm guessing the cord in the sidewall has broken. We didn't hit any potholes or curbs or anything like that. This is a 3,000 mile car. Anyone experience this with their run flats? Guess it's time to call the dealer and see what the general says.

Sounds like a defect in the tire. Assuming they are the stock EMTs I'd take it to Goodyear to see what they say.

I was going to take in to the dealer first, but I'll give the Goodyear guys a call. Thanks--like the color on your Vette.

dealer has nothing to do with the tires once you roll off the lot - Goodyear issue, as folks mentioned
