I was drifting through a after market parts book when I saw a "tire repair kit" for Z06 owners for about $25. The only thing I don't like about my Z06 was the lack of a spare or run flat tires. I own tire repair (plugging) tools and have repaired many tires on my daily driver vehicles without removing the wheel/tire from the car. I have never had any problems with the tires that I have plugged. I went to Walmart and for $10 bought a tire repair kit that comes in a box that fits right in the well with the tire inflator/sealant kit that came with the car. I also put a pair of pliers in the kit so as to have something to pull the object out of the tire. Althought you may want to replace a tire on a Z06 that has a plug I believe putting a plug in the tire is a much better repair then using the sealant that comes with the car. I know I feel better driving the Z with the repair kit!
