Is it normal for the front tires on the 03' z06 to wear un-evenly?
I just inspected my front tires and noticed that the LF is down to the threads on the 1st inch of tire. It has pleanty of tread left. Do you think this is a wheel aligment problem or normal for these tires?
Gus

Could be alignment, but since it's worn on the outside inch it's probably aggresive cornering. If you drive hard you'll wear any performance tire out quick.

take it to a front end shop...there is something wrong with your steering if that tire is worn that badly and on only one side (left in this case)

The Corvette comes from the factory with some negative camber. That is so the tire is flatter on the pavement during hard cornering. The inside inch or two of the front tires can wear more rapidly. The negative camber can be taken out at the alignment shop, at the expense of a modest decrease in cornering ability.

Yeah, one side is an indicator of an alignment problem. I did'nt catch that it was only one side , sorry.
