I have a 72 stock corvette with 225/70/15 , looking to go with 225/70/15 on front, and 235/70/15
on back to fill up wheel well a little more. Any one know about Master Craft GT Avengers ? Not many as you know in 15'' , besides BFG T/A's and few others. Thanks for any info, Bob

Master Craft is a Cooper Tire line of value priced truck and car rubber. I sure wouldn't choose them over a BFG T/A. I'm pretty fussy about the tires on a real performance vehicle. But that's just my opinion.

Not to many to choose from, any others beside bfg ta's?

Any body running BFG t/a 's 225/70/15 on front, and 235/15/70 on back. The 225 have 27.4 dia , and the 235 have 28 dia , with regard to slight speedometer deference is there any other issues that anybody has to offer. My reason for the 235 in rear is I would like to fill up wheel well space
with added height, and need new rear tires thanks for any opinions.

You can get into several different sizes of Hoosier tires. While they are some that would be considered performance, there are a lot considered 'Drag' type. Never the less you could come close to 245's and 255's in the 15" sizings, though they might be a little larger widthwise. It's true that there a very limited group of brands.

I My self Have BFG 225/70 on the front & BFG 225/50 on the back ,Rally Sport Rims 8" on front 15 " on back , no trouble with my side pipes , If you put 235`s on it or Bigger,it will look like a strip car instead of a track car , inless you lower the body in the back , I my self like the low to the ground trans am style track car look , but it`s up to you they both look good to me , you can run some pretty tall tires in the back its up to you the only thing it will change it the front alinement & balance of the Corvette.

Bob, do you have stock fenders or are they flared?
I am running 245/60/15 in the front and 295/50/15 in the fear.
I have large ZL-1 flares to allw those to fit.
On the front I am REAL close to my headers when I turn.

Ok, so I just went back and re-read that you have a STOCK corvette.
So you can ignore my last message.
