New tire time I can't get any 245's in a major brand? BF says they won't be making them for a few months,I forgot what firestone said ,but anyway 255's look like they may rub so looks like I may be going with 235's any one using this size? I'm worried about too much wheel well showing

Send me an email and I'll send you pics of my 71 with 235/60s and 225/70s. I like the 225s but you can judge.

I have 255x60 bf goodrich tires on my 1980 and have had no problem at all. I have heard though that if you go any bigger than 255 you might have a problem with tire rubbing. Also I bought my tires at summitracing.com for a good price.

i'm running BFG radial TA's, 225/60R15's, all the way round and no rubbing problems. the wheels are 8" Centerlines with stock backspacing. i think any backspace besides stock will make the 255's rub, been a couple years since i researched it. Brian
