I have posted this on the Corvette Forum but so far no information. One other Corvette Forum member is also seeing the below message.
I ran the TIS report ( TIS ) to check on my updated MRC. 2017 GS Coupe A8 FE4 and see a strange annotation under part # 84059231 (Operating System line 2).
It states "5.0 requires updates to version 6.0 to mitigate the potential for unintended damper circuit faults (C0575, C0580, C0585, and C0590 with subtype byte $1A )."
I spoke with the service manager and he recommended I bring my car in for the Corvette technician to run a diagnostic. I did so this last Friday and the tech was a stumped as he had never seen this before. He indicated this was in the operating system portion of the computer software. He is calling the Corvette engineering staff and will have to get back with me as the code numbers don't match. He is keeping the service ticket open and hopefully I'll here from him early next week.
So far nothing back from my dealer.
Anyone have any experience with this message?
