Toggle gauges/fuel info question?

These may not be in exact order, but you know what i mean:

I noticed that the Fuel Info button goes --->
1. Instant mpg
2. Average mpg
3. Range
4. OFF/BLANK

Then the Gauges button goes --->
1. Coolant temp
2. Oil temp
3. Volts
4. then back to #1

Why does the fuel info button go to off/blank, yet the gauges button never turns off? Does anyone else find that strange? :crazy

I went thru the 95 factory manual & can't find any reference. :crazy

While on a trip to north florida yesterday I wondered about this question I had seen here.... where else would they put the off position of the displays?

If you think about it... the fuel side provides the Off option and the gages sensors just cycle.

BTW... what an awesome drive up I-75 from Orlando.. crisp cool temps and crystal clear sky's... she just purrred the whole way.
