Tomorrow's the Day!!

Weather in Boston has been so unpredictable with snow, rain, ice, sleet, and lots of salt all over the roads that it doesn't look like we'll be able to get our new '02 home in the very near future so it's being flatbedded here tomorrow!! It's only 30 miles away, but there's no way we'd drive it the way the roads are. We can't wait to get it home and have it meet its "sister", the GS!! The only downside is that our '74 will be leaving us:cry :cry We'll try to be strong

Well, it's a done deal! New one came on a flatbed truck about 1:30, and our '74 left shortly thereafter on the same truck:cry I have to tell you all that although it was Alan who was so unbelievably crazy about that car, it was me who cried in the driveway as it left!!! Who would have known?:confused Guess it was the end of another chapter in our lives.

New one got washed (and, man, was that cold to do ourselves!), wiped down, backed into the garage and introduced to the queen of the garage, The Diva!!

I think they like each other!!:L

Awesome!

I remember how I felt giving up my old Corvette for a new one. My buddy down at Walter Earl said, "You will get over it real fast after driving the new one." Sure thing, that is exactly what happened. It was hard at the time to part with it though.......lol.
The C5 is such an awsome machine. I had a 94' C4 before this, and the ride and engineering is alot better in the C5. (Not only, entry and exit is greatly improved.)
