Tonneau Cover button

The tonneau cover button on my 2002 convertible does not work, I have cheeked the fuse and the relay by exchanging them and noting, I have checked for power at the latch but noting. It is also peculiar but may not be related to the button that my heads-up display auto shift word does not come on and it did before.
Has anyone had or herd of this problem? :confused

Does any one have a wiring diagram for the cover swich that they can send it to me

Hi Tony-

I know it won't work with the trunk open.....

just a thought - saw another guy having problems with this one time and that is what he was doing - trying to open the tonneau with the trunk lie unlatched.

Tonneau Cover Button

My tonneau cover button failed to work one afternoon. The car had been in the garage for about 5 days. The remote fob had lost its memory.
It finally dawned on me what had happened.

Apparently the tonneau cover latch is part of the security system. Once I had re-synced the remote to the car, then unlocked the car with the remote, the cover button worked!
