Put a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's on the front of the '96. Took it out for a spin yesterday down to Lost Maples State Park in south Texas, about 100 miles from me. The ranch roads in that area are very scenic and a lot of fun to drive. I must say these tires hold MUCH better than I need with my wife riding with me. I plan on putting the rears on in January after I burn a little more off the BFG's that are back there. I go through backs a lot quicker than the fronts even w/out lead footin' it.
The really cool part though is that my rut following is almost cured even though I can feel about 3/8" slop in the wheel. I didn't think tires could make that much difference. Now if I can just eliminate that steering slop....
