And I won!! First full on brackett races, I entered Street, and made my way thru to the finals. There was only one faster car in my brackett, and each time we all staged, she fell in behind me, I think she was ducking me and hoping I would break out or lose. :chuckle On the final, I finally got my best RT, (.059) and beat her to the line with a 9.15 on a 9.13 dial. :Twist

OK, I am hooked, now a question!

Someone here about a year ago gave me advice when racing to unhook the AC compressor, but how do I cool down now that the summer temps are here? I put up a canopy for shade and pull in & lift the hood, and just bought another 160 T-stat but have decided to stay with the 180. Any way to keep the heat soaking down?

Thanx all! :upthumbs

Good Job! Chalk up another for the LT-1 powerplant. Last time at the track temps were around 95 - 98 degrees. It was a vette only track meet. Times were affected by the extreme heat. I heard that some were actually using their AC on the run :boogie...imagine that! Most all of the Z's were spinning tires halfway down the track. Even so the times were impressive. :thumb

ac
unhook..??..no

for cool down....turn on.
.this kicks in both fans
