Hey all, just thought I'd chime in and share some joys! :upthumbs I had to drive up North for some engagement pictures yesterday, so I thought I'd ask and see if the fiance wouldn't mind taking the SNAT. Figured this might be one of the last chances for a nice little trip before the sn*w comes. :(

Anyway, nothing out of the ordinary on the trip, but that doesn't make it any less fun! Any time you get to drive the Callaway, its bound to be fun, right!? The only blemish to the whole trip was that the odometer rolled over 100,000. But hey, like we discussed earlier, it went to Callaway with 45,000 on it, so there should be plenty of fun left in her! I can't keep myself out of the drivers seat, anyway. I find myself thinking, "maybe I should take the Civic and give the Callaway a rest... afterall I'm just going to the grocery store". But, that never happens. :) I drive that thing whenever I get a chance. :upthumbs

So, when we were up there getting the pictures taken, the photographer said "who's hotrod?" :) and then "is that a 'special' kind of Corvette?" :cool After talking about it a little bit, he said "well, do you want to get some pictures with the car"... Of course I'm thinking to myself, I can't lie, that was in the back of my mind when I decided to drive it up. ;)

So, we took about four or five pics with the car. It was pretty awesome, I felt like it was going to be in some sort of feature article in a magazine or something, except that if that was the case, they sure wouldn't have had my ugly mug in the photo shoot! :L I only wished I could have got my Zymol and put a nice coat on there before going up for the pictures!!

Anyway, just wanted to share a bit of fun with everyone! I'll try to post the pics when they come in!

Good to see your car gets driven!

Over here (UK) everyone seems to save their Corvette for sunny sundays (once a year). Sometimes I think the Callaway is too much of an exotic for regular use but sometimes I just can't resist just taking it down the road.

There's a great feeling of superiority you get when you know you can blow away every other car on the road if you want. I never even bother, knowing it is enough!

Keep on driving!
