Im currently driving my dad's '90 L98 and i would like to know what are the best/top projects for any increase in performance. It has an auto tranny and I'm pretty sure that the engine is nearly stock. Any help would be great.:)

Welcome to the best little Corvette site on the web!

To start out with, the L98 motor has a restrictive exhaust and intake.

On the exhaust side at the very least a cat-back system will help. Even better would be a set of long tube headers with a true dual exhaust.

On the intake side a cut air lid and K&N filter or equivilent wouldn't hurt. Since you're in the city of Lost Wages, a throttle body coolant bypass would be a good idea too.

After that. you're looking at getting into the motor, like a set of 1:6 roller rockers or even a rear gear change.

Also, don't overlook the basics. Make sure it's got a fresh tune. Plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor.
