Torque Tube 0, SideStep 1

It was a real fight to get the Torque Tube out and the snap-ring is almost dangerous, but I won!!!

I am replacing MANY things before I install the supercharger and the TT bushings were on the list for this weekend.... Now for the sad news... The factory ones look perfect:crazy: :crazy: :crazy: Oh well, it was a character building experience

dumb question - cause I just got my frist C5, is there any oil in the there?

where is the Clutch? or TC in a Auto? guessing in the back...

No fluids of any type in there. The clutch is on the engine side... I honestly do not know where the TC would be... Never had an Auto apart...

I should have the rear-end all back together tonight...

I only have one question. Did you change your clothes before you had that photo taken of you holding the torque tube? There's not a speck of grease/oil/smudge on your WHITE t-shirt or those blues jeans. otfl

I pick up a brand new clean wrench and before I've even touched the first bolt I'm already halfway to being covered in grease! ;help
