Wife and I just became proud owners of an Ermine white 64 coupe. Not our first classic car, but it's our first vette. I have a few questions - where do you folks generally buy your corvette parts? I'm looking for some ermine white touch up paint in a small bottle with a brush and also some touch up for the black part of the console and around the glove box door. Also I've got some small cracks in the passenger side eyebrow that you can see when looking through the windshield - do you folks have any suggestions about any vinyl repair product to fill some small cracks? The interior is black. Thanks much.

I buy my parts at Long Island Corvette Supply. www.licorvette.com

I have never had success with repairing the interior vinyl, I finally had to replace the entire dash pad. Not for the faint of heart.

As far as touch-up paint, I think either Ecklers www.ecklers.com or MidAmerica www.madvet.com

There's also a place that I dealt with called the The Last Detail (The Final Detail???) but I lost track of them.

Most guys go with a certain Krylon Black for the interior trim and I'm sure someone will post the code.

Welcome to the hobby!

I get all of my parts from one of three places:

Long Island Corvette Supply http://www.licorvette.com/

Paragon Reproductions http://www.corvette-paragon.com/

Dr. Rebuild http://www.docrebuild.com/dr-r-web/aaa-home.html

for my black interior trim I just did over the winter I used the SEM #39143 Trim Black paint but it was recommended to me that this was best to be used on the trim panels I was doing ABOVE the dash area and that a slightly different finish would be more appropiate for the dash and surrounding parts so I can't help you too much on that question. sorry.

Most of the Vette parts suppliers will have touch-up paint in your Ermine White.

Congrats on the purchase of your Vette and welcome to CAC!
