transmission oil

Iam changing my transmission gaskit and would like to no the best replacement transmission oil.Is dexron the best. THANKS MARK

I got a 79 which had a turbo 350. I have since changed to a 700r4. I use ( on both trans) Coastal Dexron 3. The car calls for Dexron 2, but it isnt made anymore. Dexron 3 is its replacement, it works fine.
