I was at a red light the other night, and I decided to take off from the light. I tromped the gas pedal and took off. Is it normal for first gear to take so long to shift out of? Once it hit the red line, and hit second gear, it REALLY took off, and runs great, but it seemed like a hell of a long time for first gear to wind up to switch gears. I checked all fluids, everything checks out, and the car only has 56,000 miles on it.
Any takers on this one???
